@LBRYproject:a

An open search for the best student created videos.

LBRY  is open source and designed to be controlled by everyone! Hundreds of developers have contributed to the core code bases that power LBRY and thousands of other community members have helped in other ways: recruiting creators, performing translations, making graphics, and so much more. Legacy content sites such as YouTube, Instagram, and Spotify store your uploads on their servers and allow viewers to download them in a rather inefficient manner. These platforms also allow creators to make some money through advertising or other mechanisms. However, there are some well-known drawbacks, especially for students whose material is perceived as not being advertiser-friendly.

To learn more about LBRY from a student perspective.. please watch this student lead interview with LBRY CEO, Jeremy Kauffman here

The LBRY team are offering A LOT of LBC tokens to find the best student created video at your school! The videos can be about anything as long as they are student centric! Some topics students have already come up with are: "How to play Minecraft" & "Explaining covid to my past self"

To participate in this project, upload your student created video to one of the legacy video platforms (or here) and provide us with a URL via the contact form below. We will then review that the video is appropriate, and re-upload the video to the official LBRY.Project channel. All videos submitted to the LBRY project will be dedicated to Public Domain.

The winning video will be the video with the most views (by 01-01-2021 09:00:00am AEST) on our official LBRY.Project channel.
